After developing the Geico Caveman look and informing the world that he quit acting to become a rapper — Joaquin Phoenix has finally emerged after being out of the spotlight and under that facial forest for several months…and you can actually see his face!
Phoenix teamed up with ex Liv Tyler to tape a promo for To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.
Miley Cyrus is also featured in another promo spot with Joaquin for TWLOHA. They talk about Lady Gaga and she starts singing — yeah, slightly annoying.
Phoenix made several, very strange TV appearances last year including David Letterman. Not a soul on Earth will forget that one, although many called it a publicity stunt which may have been true.
