The 2009 American Music Awards were full of surprises last night. Jennifer Lopez attempted a slightly dangerous leap from a platform onto the main stage during her performance and ending up landing on her most prized possession.
She ended up smacking her famous be-hind on the stage instead of landing on her feet. J-Lo sat down with Ryan Seacrest today on his radio show and jokingly stated, “I meant to do that,” when asked about her minor accident.
She added, “the measure of things is, it’s not what happens when you fall, it’s how you handle it when you fall.” Good point, she did recover quickly and professionally.
