The Judge Wants Face Time With Britney Spears

Britney Spears was requested to appear in court today for a hearing at 1:30 p.m. regarding her conservatorship case.

About two years back, her daddy, Jamie gained legal control over her affairs. It’s standard procedure for L.A. Superior Court Commissioner, Reva Goetz to check up on Spears’ current status.

“The commissioner just wants to see with her own eyes how Britney is doing, and to get a feel for whether Britney fully understands what’s going on in her case,” says L.A. probate lawyer Jeffrey S. Cohen, who has no involvement in the case.

Insiders stated that Spears will need to prove to the court — backed by doctors opinions, that she has the ability to run her own life.

Brit failed to appear at her scheduled hearing last Friday due to a misunderstanding with the court.
