Poor Matt and Meredith. Even ripped paper is funnier than they are!
The hosts of the Today show tried their best to charm 10-month-old Micah McArthur, YouTube's latest favorite "laughing baby," when he visited their show on Friday, along with his parents Marcus and Amanda, but he wasn't having it.Baby Micah became a hit when his dad uploaded a video of him laughing hysterically over the destruction of a job rejection letter. Unfortunately for the morning hosts, they just couldn't replicate the baby's joy a second time around.
The original clip is definitely cute, so it's easy to understand why the video has been viewed almost 6 million times. Then again, if we've learned anything from YouTube, it's that babies love to laugh over ripping paper, and the Internet loves laughing babies. So Matt and Meredith just might get a shot at making the next baby-sensation crack a smile.
