Oops, They Did It Again!

Yeah, if you want to know what this is about, it is about the result of American Idol that crowned Kris Allen as the new idol defeated the extraordinary Adam Lambert who is became a favorite since day one. I spotted this talented guy when he did the audition in San Diego last year which glued me to the television waiting for his actions week after week. Believe it or not, I do think that this beautiful guy turned American Idol to Adam Lambert’s Show with other contestants as mere guests. Am sorry, guys…but that’s the true. Every week people tuned in to their telly just to watch what this guy going to do to entertain them. Yeah, for the first time in Idol’s history, people witnessed a guy who was there not just to compete and win the title which drive them to millions of Dollar recording contract, but also to entertain. He was there to perform, despite on anything that people said about him, he was there to be a star. Well, he was born to be one, as since his early age he knew what he wanted in life and stick with it. So yeah, Adam Lambert with his bold and daring style, gave American Idol something to watch and he was succeed making this show not so boring as it did since it was been on for eight years already. Well, I guess America did it again as they did to Chris Daughtry a couple of seasons ago. Despite on how was Daughtry said that he is not so much an Adam Lambert’s fan but America did the same thing to both of them for different reasons.
I can not believe in this super power and famous as modern country as they said about America, somehow, still intimidated by a guy who knew who he is and where he stands. A guy who is non parentally approved and not afraid to wears make up, glam glittery, and those unusual costumes that make him looks so flamboyant and unique. With Adam, you could do anything that was probably only happened in your wildest dreams and transform it to real life. He is amongst all of those superstar who never say no to any challenges. He loves what he does and continue doing it whether people like it or not. He rocks! In the other hand, Kris Allen is a married College student in his hometown, Conway, Arkansas, who worked as a Church worship leader before this big thing happened to him. He is, in fact, a parentally approved type of guy next door (boring) who you would be proud to introduce to your mom. And don’t even think of doing anything dangerous with him. And, if am not wrong, I do remember that during his audition last year, the judge Simon Cowell did say that his modesty was kind of put him off. Well, guess what, me too! Boohoo!
Okay, that was personal matters, but if you watched the show week after week, then you will understand what am talking about. Adam was a better contestant by far compare to Mr. Humble, Kris. And once again, this is a singing competition, and Adam is by miles a better singer to Mr. Modest, Kris which is probably a better musician to Adam. I never said that Kris was not good, in fact that he performed ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ so beautiful on the round one finale and Simon called it as his round and am totally agreed with him. But, I didn’t think that Adam was not good on his first performance last night, he was just as good as he was in the other nights so that we couldn’t see anything special anymore like what we saw in Kris. But on second and third rounds, Adam was the whole way through, even Simon said the second round was a million percent goes to Adam. So, what went wrong?
Well, this a competition that decided by people’s vote, so yeah, there is a lucky factor taking place in this arena. The battle was not only between the contestants but also between the fans. That is why, Simon who is, for some reasons, always has a strong feeling during the competitions and the only judge whose voice is always contribute the vote, reminds every Adam’s fan out there to keep in voting. I guess, somehow, deep down there, he knew that Adam was going to be David Archuletta from last season this year. We certainly won’t forget how David Archuletta, who was favorite from day one, got beat by another David, as a Cook, that is (thanks God for that). But this last year thing, I thought America got it right, as Archuletta is a Kris Allen of this season to me. So save, boring, sweet and guy next door type of person. Someone who will put you to sleep when he companied you. I know many people still can not take a guy who wears make up, nail polish, and costumes yet. For some reasons, which to me is ridiculous, they are kind of intimidated with a guy such as Adam Lambert one. Well, I can not dictated how people think, though, so yeah…that is their prerogatives. Beside, Kris was not that bad and to be honest with you, I think he needs to win this competition so that he can sell some records. Adam? I don’t think he needs to win anything now, as he build his fan base quite all right now, so he will be a superstar no matter what. Paula even said that he’ll becomes an iconic. Well, I know what you‘re going to say, who wants to know what Paula thinks anyway, but hey, for the first time in my life I am agree with her in this thing. Adam is going to be big just by being Adam. Girls love him, gays love him, and so do guys who are not intimidated with their identities. So yeah, for me Adam still rocks and guyliner is hot!
